Hey LULR crew –

The Presidential race is in full swing and you are invited to help stir the political pot (Not really…just come over for some cocktails).  Shannon and I are hosting next Saturday at our wonderful two bedroom condo (13063 15^th Ave NE, Seattle).  In honor of our two fellow Americans duking it out for Commander in Chief we will be serving Cape Cod and Chicago cocktails…along with beer, wine and softies for those who apply.  I know it pains a few of you but due to space we are keeping it adult.  Tiny, little ones are always welcome but we are going to try and get our First Lady a sitter.  You can get here by 6:00 and leave when our senior voters call on our liberal law enforcement to break up our right of free assembly.

October Party - MOVES TO OCTOBER 13th.

Fall is here...let's hang onto summer.  We'll cram into a tiny condo, crank up the heat, and get cozy as it gets cold outside.   Shorts, hawaiian shirts, tube tops, and flip flops optional.

We love your kids but, seriously, we are limited on space so get your sitter on.  If they are super tiny, bring em.  (We'll have one kid at grandma's and hopefully the other still en utero)

Our decks are being re-done, windows replaced, and building painted...so that's why we are pushing it out a week.  This will hopefull give us enough extra time to make the place presentable.  If not, you can help us dust.

Bring some snacks...your choice. 
We'll have beer, wine, and the featured summery cocktail : Beautiful Moment

Alrighty folks,

July 7th - The Wellnitz House - Ballard

Hoping for good weather and a chance to hang outside, play some ladder ball, and maybe have a little bonfire in the backyard in the evening.

Rules and Regs:
Nothing against our two lovely children (or the lovely children of our beloved friends), but we're hoping for an adult/infant only party.

Our kids will be staying at their grandparents' house for the night.

This will give us a break from the chasing around the little tikes and will also let those with sedentary (read: non-mobile) bambinos enjoy the fun.

We will be getting started early if the weather is nice.

Grill will be up and running for anyone who wants to use.

Backyard is also available for some real BBQ action for anyone who has the tools/skill to do some slow cooking (conor - hint hint).

Going for a loose national heritage theme - wife's polish, I'm Irish/German/'merican - vodka is a given, other drink specials are in the works.

Mixers will be provided.

Cinco aftermath...

Just wanted to recap last Sat. event.
It was fun, I had fun, Maeve had fun we hope you all had fun.
For the most part, we had approximately 12 drinkers on hand.  The 12 of us managed to consume a Huge bottle of Corralejo, a normal sized bottle of Kirkland Tequila, 1 bottle of white wine and 46 beers.
Not too shabby, however cleaning with a head ache sucks.
Cornhole was dominated by Conor and Mr. Greg Plumis, the food was good and I'm glad it didn't rain.  These gatherings are quite fun and I look fwd. to the next month.

Cinco de Mayo Par-tay - May 5th

Hi All,

Hope you're ready and gearing up for another great party!  We'll be hosting May's Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday, May 5, 4 p.m. at our place - address/directions to follow via Email.  We'll be serving up tequila cocktails and beer in honor of this great holiday.  As far as eats to bring, anything Mexican themed would be great.  We'll have the grill, stove, etc. ready for any last-minute prep/cooking.  Please let us know if you'll be attending so we know how much alcohol to purchase.  Can't wait to see you all!

Oh, also, we've decided to make this an adults only soiree so that everyone can relax and enjoy!

Good times.  first party is in the bag (and so was I).  Moving slow today but is was worth it.  Thanks D and Rach for hosting!

It starts

Alright, alright, alright.... So we decided to go with a Spanish theme for the cocktail party next week, that way we can have cocktails, wine, Cava (Spanish sparkling wine), and beer....everybody is happy!
It also works well for food ideas...Tapas Anyone?
My beverage ideas so far (subject to change)
Cava (sparkles)
Estrella Damm (lager)
Spanish red and white wines...maybe sangria
I'll also have vodka and gin for a couple of Spanish'ish cocktails I have in mind.

Drinks are taken care of here, looking forward to sampling everyones food.
